The Center of Fundamental Interactions (COFI) at Johns Hopkins brings together experimental and theoretical expertise to tackle pressing questions across particle physics and connected fields. Our members span LHC physics and future collider studies (Andrei Gritsan, Petar Maksimovic, Morris Swartz), dark matter, neutrino experiments, and quantum sensing (Danielle Norcini, Danielle Speller, Alexander Sushkov, Petar Maksimovic), atomic, molecular, and optical precision probes (David DeMille, Chris Overstreet), and theory, phenomenology, cosmology, and quantum gravity (Surjeet RajendranDavid Kaplan, Ibou Bah, Marc Kamionkowski). By combining diverse approaches, from high‑energy colliders to precision quantum and AMO techniques, COFI fosters interdisciplinary collaborations aimed at advancing our understanding of fundamental interactions.
