Professor and Henry A. Rowland Chair of Physics and Astronomy Tyrel McQueen recently participated in a Lorentz Center workshop to discuss one of the most intriguing phenomena in physics: superconductivity—materials that conduct currents without any electrical resistance. McQueen appears in the outreach video generated at the workshop that outlines the cutting edge of superconductivity research including superconducting diodes and new ways to stack atomically thin layers of materials.
