Graduate student Nicole Crumpler is a recipient of the Metropolitan Washington Chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation’s Scholar Award for the 2025-2026 academic year. The $15,000 award recognizes Crumpler’s exceptional academic credentials, including her research that employs white dwarf stars as natural laboratories to probe the effects of extreme gravity and hunt for exotic dark matter particles.
