Postdoctoral researcher Dr. Arshia Jacob has received the Otto Hahn Award from the Max Planck Society.  Arshia, who has been working with Prof. David Neufeld, is being recognized for her novel investigations of the physics and chemistry of the interstellar medium.  The award provides for a long-term research residency abroad followed by leadership of a research group at one of the Max Planck Institutes.  In March, Arshia also received the Otto Hahn Medal from the Max Planck Society.  The Otto Hahn Award goes to a small subset of particularly worthy Medal recipients.
