One of the most prestigious NASA postdoctoral fellowships this year, the Einstein Fellowship, has been awarded to David Jones, who recently earned his PhD from the department with Adam Riess as his advisor.

Other recent (2018-2019) recipients of NASA fellowships with JHU connections are Dillon Brout (JHU undergrad in Adam Riess’ group , 2013), and Johan Mazoyer (JHU postdoc).

Other recent JHU PhD alumni who were offered NASA prize fellowships include Liang Dai (PhD with Marc Kamionkowski), Daniel Scolnic (PhD with Adam Riess) and Julian Munoz (PhD with Marc Kamionkowski).
