Rosemary F.G. Wyse
Rosemary F. G. Wyse graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1977 with a BSc in Physics and Astrophysics and obtained her PhD in Astrophysics at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge University in 1983. Wyse moved to the U.S. to do postdoctoral work at Princeton University and the University of California Berkeley. Her work has primarily been in the fields of galactic formation, composition and evolution. In addition to being a professor at Johns Hopkins, Wyse is the 2010–13 president of the Aspen Center for Physics.
