Research Interests: Astrophysics; galaxy formation and evolution

Education: PhD, Cambridge University

Rosemary F. G. Wyse graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London, with a BSc (1st class honors) in Physics with Astrophysics. She then moved to Cambridge University (Emmanuel College), where she obtained a distinction in Part III of the Applied Mathematics Tripos, then her PhD at the Institute of Astronomy.  Wyse moved to the U.S. to undertake postdoctoral research, primarily at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focus is in the field of galaxy formation and evolution, with emphases on resolved stellar populations and the nature of dark matter.
