Postdoctoral Fellow in Astophysics

The William H. Miller Ill Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) invites applications for a postdoctoral position to pursue research in astrophysics with emphasis on multiwavelength studies of quenching galaxies.

The candidate will use archival radio, far-infrared, optical and X-ray data to study the cold interstellar medium and supermassive black hole properties of recently quenched galaxies. In particular, expertise with radio interferometry and spectroscopic integral field unit observations of quenching galaxies are desirable.

This work will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Kate Rowlands and Dr. Katey Alatalo
