Research Summary

Ronald J. Allen is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University, and an astronomer and head of the Research Program Office at the Space Telescope Science Institute. His research interests are the physics of interstellar matter in galaxies, galaxy spiral structure, and optical imaging interferometry in space. He teaches a graduate course at JHU on "Fourier Optics and Interferometry."
