Research Summary

Mario Livio is an adjunct professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University, and an astronomer at the Space Telescope Science Institute . His research interests are theoretical astrophysics, accretion onto black holes, neutron stars and white dwarfs, supernova explosions, binary star evolution, active galatic nuclei, and planetary nebulae.
