Research Summary

Bruce Barnett is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University. He is currently studying proton-antiproton collisions at the world's highest laboratory energies with the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF) and proton-proton collisions within the CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) . His research activities center on studies of the recently discovered top quark , b quark decays, and hardware developement for future experiments. Over the years he has taught a large variety of courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He has served as both the Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of the Department. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
