The international conference Highly Frustrated Magnetism 2010 will be held in Baltimore, MD, USA, from August 1 to August 6, 2010, on the Homewood campus of the Johns Hopkins University.

HFM 2010 will cover all aspects of magnetism and electronic correlations in systems with competing interactions such as

  • Quantum frustrated magnetism and spin liquids.
  • Magnetic order in geometrically frustrated magnets.
  • Itinerant frustrated systems and novel superconductivity.
  • Spin glasses and random magnets.
  • Coupling between lattice, orbital and charge degrees of freedom.
  • Exotic phenomena induced by macroscopic degeneracy.
  • Artificial and molecular frustrated magnets.
