Faculty member Brice Ménard has been named the 2015-16 John Bahcall Distinguished Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.
This annual lecture has been given by distinguished astrophysicists since 2006. It is named after John N. Bahcall (1934-2005), one of the leading astrophysicists of the 20th century and best known for his contributions to the solar neutrino problem, the development of the Hubble Space Telescope and for his leadership and development of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
This lecture series is supported by the Emilio Segre Distinguished Lectures in Physics of the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Foundation.
