Liang Dai

Liang Dai, a fourth-year graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, has been awarded a prestigious NASA Einstein Postdoctoral Fellowship. The purpose of the fellowship is to support postdoctoral research related to NASA’s Physics of the Cosmos program. Dai was one of roughly 10 awardees out of 148 applicants. Dai studies how observations of the large-scale distribution of mass in the Universe can help shed light on the physical phenomena that occurred at the birth of the Universe. Dai will begin his fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton in Fall 2015 after completing his Hopkins PhD, under the  supervision of Prof. Marc Kamionkowski, in 2015.
