Kathryne Tolfree Awarded AAUW Fellowship Award

Kathryne J. Daniel Tolfree, a graduate student in the Department of Physics & Astronomy, has been awarded the AAUW American Dissertation Fellowship. The purpose of this highly competitive fellowship is to support women, who have demonstrated scholarly excellence and a dedication to women issues, in their final year of graduate school. The American Fellowship program was established in 1888, making it the oldest non-institutional source of graduate funding for women in the U.S.
